Step #1: Purchase A Professional Email Address
If you are using a free gmail/yahoo/aol etc email, then you are going to have deliverability issues no matter what when it comes to sending emails from any CRM. Free emails are obviously easy to come by, and lots of servers don't trust them. They automatically get flagged and end up in the spam folder most of the time.
The BEST thing to do is to buy a professional email address. A professional email address is something like [email protected] or [email protected]
You don't want an email like [email protected] or [email protected]
There are several different places to purchase a professional email address, all have different pros and cons, but here are a two different providers we recommend:
Step #2: Sign Up For A SMTP Subscription
A SMTP is how you connect your email address to your Agent CRM Account. You can think of it as the link between the two different platforms and it allows you to send out emails through Agent CRM but from your email.
Once you sign up for a SMTP subscription, you will need to connect your email address to your SMTP subscription, and then you will need to connect your SMTP account to your Agent CRM Account.
There are several different SMTP providers out there, all have different pros and cons, but here is a link to sign up for a free SendGrid account.
If You Used SendGrid, Please Follow These Steps:
After you sign up for SendGrid, please check your email to verify your email address with them. Then, you will create a "sender" in your account. Here is how to do that:
Once you get your account created and your sender verified, you will be able to integrate with Agent CRM. Here is how to do that:
Once all of those steps are completed, you will be able to send out emails from your very own SMTP provider.
Final Notes
Please understand that these professional email providers & SMTP providers are NOT Agent CRM, nor are they affiliated with Agent CRM. If you are having issues with one of them, please reach out to their support, not ours. We can't possibly provide support for any and all providers out there. Once you sign up, take it slow with your emails. Don't sign up and then blast your list. You need to start slow (less than 100/day), and then slowly ramp up each day. You can increase how many you send each day by about 20% each day.
